noun: a small and particularly interesting item of information regarding your favourite jewellery label, Tinka
Years ago when deciding potential names for my future business, I brainstormed a very small list of names that would best encompass my work (this is maybe why a self-titled name didn’t sit quite right with me).
At the time, the jewellery I made was all one-of-a-kind, making a conscious choice to use recycled, vintage, and antique treasures, for I loved the idea of marrying a stranger’s past with someone’s present.
Using a play on words to the renowned saying, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”, Treasure Trash was born. A name that, although doesn’t embody my brand as a whole, is the perfect representation of my exclusive up-cycled collection.
THE BUTTERFLY LOGO
Many customers over the years have asked whether I got my businesses logo, the butterfly, tattooed on my wrist. The answer is no. I did not get a tattoo of a logo. Click below to discover the significance of our logo or, is it the significance of the tattoo? You decide.
SPIRIT OF THE SKY
You may recognise this necklace as Spirit of the Sky, but did you know this wasn't the original design?! Click below to discover what I originally had planned for this bohemian inspired piece.
